A supported playgroup has a professional facilitator who works with specific groups of families and is funded at no or low cost.

The City of Ballarat’s new Supported Playgroup Program will help build parenting skills while families are having fun together during playgroup activities.  The weekly sessions are supported by a trained facilitator and there is an option of a home visit to support learning in the home.  These playgroups are open to families who have a Health Care Card.
