Salary range $63,216 to $72,164 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation
The Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre are looking for a passionate team player to lead our Aquatic Education program development and growth. Reporting directly to the Centre Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations and running of the program along with the strategic development of the program to deliver growth in participation of both our term and school based programs.
You will lead a team of staff to deliver a high-quality customer focussed program that delivers outstanding service and results to the community.
Key Selection Criteria
Experience in aquatic education program development, marketing and supervision in a leisure facility.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team to achieve agreed outcomes.
Experience delivering instruction to a wide range of age groups and swimming abilities in addition to experience supervising aquatic education program delivery.
Excellent communication skills across a diverse range of cultural and intellectual backgrounds with the objective of delivering high quality customer service and outcomes.
Experience as an active member of a positive team culture where peers are supported and aquatic education is delivered with enthusiasm and pride.
Ability to work within a large team environment across a multi-venue organisation.
Demonstrated time management, planning and organisational skills within a busy and fast-paced environment
AUSTSWIM ‘Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate’
Level 2 First Aid Certificate
Pool Lifeguard Qualification or willingness to obtain
