Hourly Rate from $39.99 to $45.75 per hour, includes 25% casual loading, plus 9.5% superannuation. Junior rates will apply under the age of 21 years.
As a Group Fitness Instructor this position requires you to work as part of a team committed to the goals that actively fosters community participation and involvement.
To instruct participants/patrons in a class situation in a safe and controlled environment. Plan and provide structured, enjoyable classes for members and casual users ensuring that our programs and services meet and exceed customers expectations.
Key Selection Criteria
Hold current certificates in, First Aid and CPR.
Registration with Physical Activity Australia or Fitness Australia.
Relevant group fitness qualifications (eg: Les Mills, Yoga, Aqua).
Minimum Certificate III in Fitness or GEL (Group Exercise Leader).
Experience working within a similar role in the fitness industry.
Experience in teaching group fitness
Ability to design and implement safe and effective exercise programs and instructing participants in correct exercise technique.
Be proactive and motivate to succeed.
Be committed to on-going personal and professional development to maintain industry knowledge and professional skills at the highest level.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor adherence to health and safety policies and procedures within a team environment.
